Our Promise

Environment Promise: We use Forest Stewardship Council certified woods or woods salvaged from downed trees. All our boards are glassed with epoxy resin that is cleaner for our environment and emit 50-75% less Volatile Organic Compounds than polyester resin. In our shop, we have moderate ventilation and no need for a mask when glassing. It is also lighter and stronger than polyester. Our wood boards are nearly indestructible and should last a lifetime. Each board is crafted with concern for our environment.

Our promise: Ride our woodies for 30 days. If you don't like it, return it. If you clean the wax off, no charge, if not we'll deduct $35. Broken glass dings (which are nearly impossible to do) or damages void this Promise.

Southport, NC Wooden Boat Show 2011

Fun day. Kind of warm but Fall is approaching and, well it'll start getting cold soon. Down here we measure the season but wetsuit specs:  It's a 3/2 day or 5/4/3 and hood - gloves- booties day. So this one was rash guard and trunks kind of day. Tom sold two wall hangers and Charlie came over to pick up my Old Dog, pic of him using it below.
