Our Promise

Environment Promise: We use Forest Stewardship Council certified woods or woods salvaged from downed trees. All our boards are glassed with epoxy resin that is cleaner for our environment and emit 50-75% less Volatile Organic Compounds than polyester resin. In our shop, we have moderate ventilation and no need for a mask when glassing. It is also lighter and stronger than polyester. Our wood boards are nearly indestructible and should last a lifetime. Each board is crafted with concern for our environment.

Our promise: Ride our woodies for 30 days. If you don't like it, return it. If you clean the wax off, no charge, if not we'll deduct $35. Broken glass dings (which are nearly impossible to do) or damages void this Promise.

Ocean Isle Beach Surf Contest 9-11-11

Tom surfing his Blind Dog foam, Nose Rider with an FCS Hatchett Fin. Was a small, off-shore, glassy morning. Tom took Second in his group, Masters Long Board.








Dan on 9'8" Blind Dog woody Long Board. He also uses the same Hatchett fin. Seems to give just enough looseness and yet still bite for nose riding. He took second in Legends Long Board.
